Greetings Citizens of PixelYork!
We’re working hard developing and testing our latest features so you can begin to enjoy them. I don’t want to give a lot away, but we’ve been hearing that the city is too static… so we’re going to change that. Want to party in your apartment, but need some music? What about leaving voicemail for your neighbors?
We’ve got new buildings scattered about, we’re about to unleash a bunch of new cars, and if you check your apartment and cube, you’ll see some new furni. BUT - what are we missing? Participate in the design! Let us know what you want to see next and we’ll be sure to get it on the ‘to-do’ list!
We modified the homepage a little. It’s loading faster, and has a few new features. I mean, who wants to wait to get into PixelYork?
Speaking of PY, we need some ideas for new landmarks. We have a centrally located park, a big boy city hall, a stadium and a subway, but need a statue of pixelty. Any suggestions?
We’re building PixelYork for you! Keep telling us what you want to see and do, and we’ll make it happen. Unlike real life, we want you to be able to come here and just do what you want to do! So lay it on us, and we’ll lay it out in pixels.

How about an airport?
I am suggesting you create a water front, with some docks and boats. Also there should be an amusement park!!! or at least a giant Farris wheel. thanks

I think u guys need to let our avatars walk like real life do like go to office and work, stuff like tht, Like make animation come to life.
We can control the avatars! We’re just working out the bugs, but you’ll be able to run them around to your heart’s content.

I’d love to be able to do a search - for people currently online, by age or interests.
That would really help in meeting people or starting groups/businesses.
I agree that there could be more interactive areas… AND I really need a coffee-maker (Starbucks branding), DVD (movie downloads), Stereo (music downloads)….
